Job Description
Our electric motor winder is responsible for primarily winding and occasionally the disassembly, inspection, assembly, testing of electric motors. Our facility repairs AC, DC, Synchronous, Horizontal, Vertical, etc. electric motors from fractional through 5,000+ HP, from 230v through 7,000v AC. We repair electric motors and pumps from a variety of industries including steel mills, power plants, paper mills, sawmills, chemical companies, cement plants, asphalt plants, etc. We are a rapidly growing company with a long history in the business, with a team focused, goal-oriented group of individuals who have many years of experiences to share.
Job Duties:
- Winding of AC induction, AC synchronous, AC wound rotor and DC fields and armatures.
- Disassembly, assembly and testing of electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
- Uploading measurements, images and other required data into our cloud-based quality management and reporting software, utilizing computer tablets.
- Operation of forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Use of insulation resistance testers, hi-potential meters, ohm testers, micrometers, and AC and DC test panels
